The facility utilizes stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process. A concept of a finished products company providing parts and sub-assemblies to customers. Approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space and 50 acres are utilized for fabrication operations. An additional 350,000 square feet is available for future business growth.

Description of Primary Responsibilities :
This position will work with the Paint Process Engineer to support the technical aspects of production painting. This will include checking system parameters, verifying process compliance, troubleshooting, and assisting the Paint Process Engineer, Production T / L, and Maintenance personnel in the operation of the plant’s paint systems.
Job Requirements :
- Previous experience in vehicular painting, 1-3 years
- Experience in manual and automatic paint equipment
- Experience in body repair, sanding, and taping
- Proven ability w / Elect-static Spray Gun
- Knowledge of paint parameter checking
- Pass periodic Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
- Must demonstrate excellent habits of safety
- Willing to work overtime
Essential Functions :
Performs assigned routine tests on materials, goods in process, or finished goods where results are compared with company quality standards. Performs spray painting by using elect-static, airless, conventional cup gun or pressure pot spray painting procedures . Reports result to a supervisor who will make an analysis and take necessary action. Inspects visually for obvious defects. Performs detailed visual inspections when necessary to determine the quality of products where limits are not clearly defined. Removes defectives and places acceptable products back on the line. Notifies supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Assist in training as directed. Certification as a Painter is preferred but not required.
Ability to adapt to plant environmental conditions; above moderate heat and cold. Ability to adapt quickly to physical applications requiring varying motor skills. Ability to do repetitive bending, stooping, and climbing a minimum of 3 feet on a routine basis. Ability to read, write, and relate the meaning of written instructions to practical application.
