What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at DBG Hospitality?
Jackie is looking for one exceptional restaurant manager. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in fine-dining restaurants with emphasis on FOH training and service. Qualified candidates will have at least four years of relevant management experience and a proven track record of success and growth.
The candidate will join a small management team and will focus on updating and implementing FOH training programs. Specific duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Lead, inspire, and manage all staff; up-keep teams high spirit.
- Floor, opening, and closing responsibilities.
- Develop and implement on-going training and continuing education programs for all FOH staff.
- Upkeep FOH training materials, including service manuals and menu study guides.
- Develop staff evaluation matrices and implement performance review programs
- Assist in hiring, on-boarding, and evaluating staff.
- Ensure high quality of service.
- Maintain active ABCA Manager and Food Manager Licenses;
- This position is required to work at evening, night hours, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or ten years of equivalent professional experience is required;
- Four years or more of progressive large fine-dining restaurant management experience is required;
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
- Superb effective business writing skills;
- Excellent time-management skills;
- Impeccable personal presentation and sense of decorum.
