Job Title: Facilities/Events Crew Member
Reports To: Facilities Director/Events Manager

Overview:
Polar Park serves as home to the Worcester Red Sox, Triple-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, while also serving as a year-round multi-purpose venue for a range of private and public events, including weddings, fundraisers, festivals, concerts, and more. Polar Park Facilities/Operations Crew Members will serve a crucial role in the management of the facility. This group of individuals will serve as the team that ensures Polar Park is appropriately prepped for all Worcester Red Sox home games, as well as special events.
Role and Responsibilities:
Support the Polar Park Facilities/Operations departments in event set up and break down of gameday equipment/event equipment primarily consists of 6’ round tables, linens, conference chairs, stanchions, bike racks, stage risers, podiums, etc.
Support the facility operations department in ballpark-wide operational tasks in preparation for Worcester Red Sox home games (resetting furniture, placing stanchions, etc.)
Clean and power wash the ballpark following each Worcester Red Sox home game, paying special attention to the seating bowl area
Remove trash and recycled products
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Characteristics:
Must be at least 18-years-old
Must take direction promptly and pay attention to detail, while executing tasks as assigned
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment
Collaborate constructively with a team of peers
Ability to solve problems independently
Ability to frequently move event furniture up to 50 pounds around the ballpark site
Ability to work flexible hours throughout the year, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual, multilingual, and/or fluent in ASL
