What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Maintenance Technician position at DBI SERVICES?
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will work out of our Tampa, Florida office and will report to the crew leader on a daily basis to fulfill work orders and perform preventative maintenance on the Skyway Bridge.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Debris and litter removal and clean-up
• Concrete spall repair
• Accident response and clean up
• Slope repairs
• Railing repairs
• Joint repairs
• Cleaning and painting steel
• Driving various vehicles and operating a variety of access equipment and tools.
• Do repair, maintenance and technician work as required per assignment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience on roadway
• General background-related experience
• Valid driver's license is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MOT training
• CDL license
• Experience working with concrete a plus
• Relative experience: bridge maintenance / construction
• This position typically involves a 40 hour work week but candidates must be willing to work additional hours as needed
• Candidates must be able to respond to emergency scenarios and work unusual/unscheduled work shifts that will or may require availability on days, nights, holidays, weekends, etc.
