What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Attendant - Echo Canyon position at DBI SERVICES?
Job Summary
Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance at the Echo Canyon Rest Area.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Cleans restrooms, restocking paper and sanitary goods as needed
- Empties trash receptacles in restrooms and common areas, as well as on grounds
- Removes litter and debris from grounds
- Performs mowing tasks with a walk-behind mower
- Provides direction to subcontractors as necessary
- Ensures that DOT and contract specifications of the roadside facility are being met
- Attends Rest Area inspections
- Maintains inventory of Rest Area supplies, equipment, and small tools
- Interacts with commuters, subcontractors, security personnel, and first responders visiting the rest area
- Uses all equipment and cleaning supplies safely
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to and from work site
- Ability to lift up to sixty pounds (60 lbs.)
- General knowledge and ability to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties
- General knowledge to perform a variety of functions covered in the terms of the contracts (cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary
- Ability to work in a variety of weather environments
