JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of vehicles and equipment under the direction of the Lead Mechanic. Including mechanical build & repairs, and shop safety.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prioritize and work on projects needing immediate attention
- Perform repairs as directed
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as directed
- Assist in fabrication of new equipment/new builds as directed
- Perform maintenance and/or repairs on all miscellaneous equipment.
- Properly test equipment after repairs
- Purchase parts as needed to complete repairs in a cost effective manner
- Reorder parts efficiently for restocking and warranty purposes
- Use and maintain shop tools in a proper manner (as if they were your own)
- Keep a clean and safe environment
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in Truck repair
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to maintain a safe environment
- Keep tools in proper working order
- Maintain harmonious environment
