What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Ranger position at DBI SERVICES?
Day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Assist motorist with first aid at crash scenes
• Assist with vehicle repairs in emergency situations- Provide enough gas to get to the nearest service station; air compressor, floor-jack & tire iron for flats; and coolant, water and duct tape for radiator hose repairs
• Assist State Patrol with traffic control & scene security at crash scenes – Service.
• Push disabled vehicles out of the traffic lanes & assist in removing debris.
• Assist motorist with first aid at crash scenes.

Required Qualifications
• 2 years experience in minor automotive repair or equivalent supervisory experience
• Successfully pass a FDLE criminal record check dating back to birth
• Have a safe driving record in accordance with FDOT Procedure 250-000-010, to be verified every six months
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical designs and legal documents.
• Intermediate computer experience and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and employees.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to use a computer to prepare reports and communicate with the dispatch
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. CDL preferred but not required.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to respond to emergencies at all times.
