JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the day to day operation for day to day operations of all Area Managers and crews within a specific project.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee equipment and equipment rentals.
- Directs staff, approves payroll and assesses performance.
- Monitors materials, and subcontracts.
- Discipline employees.
- Schedules equipment repairs.
- Ensures accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all documents and reports.
- Responds to client requests including public complaints.
- Assists Data Collection Coordinator, Capital Projects Manager and Fleet Supervisor in delivery of respective roles.
- Responsible to ensure contract for incident response, and scheduling on call.
- Lead the estimating process for new bids
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two to three years’ experience in Road Maintenance, or three years in road construction.
- Good communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have experience with estimating
