The Firm is migrating its Mobile Device Management from Omnissa Workspace One (formerly AirWatch) to Microsoft Intune. The Intune MDM Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Firm s Microsoft Intune mobility platform, with a focus on managing MDM policies, securing mobile devices, and ensuring compliance with Firm standards. Additionally, the Specialist will provide assistance with the overall Intune platform, collaborating with the Infrastructure team to support broader endpoint management functions.

Responsibilities:
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Designs, implements, and maintains Microsoft Intune mobility solutions;
- Creates and deploys Intune policies for device enrollment, configuration, compliance, security, and mobile application management (MAM);
- Manages the daily operations of Microsoft Intune MDM, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of mobile devices;
- Monitors device enrollment, app deployment, provisioning, and policy application;
- Assists in the migration from Omnissa Workspace One (formerly AirWatch) to Microsoft Intune MDM;
- Coordinates and participates in planned maintenance activities.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to Microsoft Intune deployments;
- Supports identity and access management (IAM) principles and technologies;
- Provides tier-two/-three support for MDM-related issues, including device compliance failures, application deployment errors, and policy misconfigurations;
- Collaborates with IT support teams to develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles for MDM and mobile devices;
- Investigates and resolves escalated incidents related to Intune MDM and its integration with other enterprise tools, such as Entra ID and Microsoft Defender;
- Develops and executes test plans to validate infrastructure updates and check system performance.
- Security and Compliance:Implements and enforces security best practices for mobile device management, including encryption, data protection, and identity-based access controls;
- Ensures compliance with the Firm s security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to mobile device management;
- Conducts regular audits of Intune MDM configurations to identify and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance.
- Training and Adoption: Develops and maintains user training materials and documentation to enhance adoption of Intune MDM-managed devices;
- Maintains current knowledge of iOS features and makes recommendations for implementation of new features and communication of changes;
- Conducts periodic training sessions for IT support staff and end-users on best practices for secure mobile device management and self-service troubleshooting.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:Works closely with IT teams to integrate Intune MDM with other Microsoft 365 and cloud security tools;
- Assists with broader Intune platform initiatives, collaborating with the Infrastructure team to ensure seamless endpoint management;
- Stays current on updates in Microsoft Intune and emerging trends and technologies in mobile device management, and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, security, and latest capabilities;
- Participates in IT projects related to mobile device lifecycle management, cloud-first strategies, and endpoint modernization;
- Manages configuration profiles for various hardware types; and,
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent job experience will also be considered;
- Experience with Microsoft Intune MDM, including policy management, app deployment, and mobile security configurations;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Windows Autopilot, and Entra ID integration;
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) principles;
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting;
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and guide users at all levels of the organization;
- Experience with migrating from Omnissa Workspace One (formerly AirWatch) to Microsoft Intune MDM is a plus;
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing and supporting Microsoft Intune MDM in an enterprise environment;
- Demonstrated success in deploying and maintaining mobile device management policies;
- Experience in training users and IT teams on best practices for mobile device security and compliance;
- Familiarity with Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP);
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security solutions, including Defender for Endpoint, is a plus;
- Experience with migrating from Omnissa Workspace One (formerly AirWatch) to Microsoft Intune MDM is a plus;
- Experience supporting Teams and Exchange Online is a plus;
- Occasional business-related travel may be required; and,
- Availability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
