Under the direct supervision of the IS Enterprise Applications Director, the Modern Workplace Product Manager is responsible for implementing technology that delivers seamless productivity and collaboration across the enterprise while maintaining the security and integrity of Firm systems and data.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing Modern Workplace technology that delivers seamless productivity and collaboration across the hybrid enterprise while maintaining the security and integrity of systems and data.
- Optimize and continually improve the end-to-end user experience across all applications and platforms and ensure that critical business workflows are intuitive, user-friendly and efficient.
- Oversee the Microsoft 0365 ecosystem across all product areas including the Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Project for Web and SharePoint Online.
- Act as Product Manager for the Firm’s Document Management System, managing upgrades and new releases, communicating new features and configuring the platform to meet the needs of the business.
- Oversee the mobile user experience within Microsoft Intune and ensure that critical business applications are optimized and effectively integrated with other key systems.
- Perform QA and Testing activities of related systems to properly manage change to the environment and measure the impact and security implications of new capabilities. Create Test Plans as needed.
- Complete Application Security Reviews in partnership with the IS Security team to ensure applications meet the security and information governance standards.
- Act as Product Manager for the Legal Desktop which encompasses the Litera Drafting Suite including Compare, Metadata Scrubbing, DocXTools and the Create Template platform.
- Provide day-to-day production support and respond to user incidents and support tickets and participate in system upgrades and product rollouts.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities and guide the evolution of the modern workspace environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on User Experience for Microsoft Office 365, Intune, mobile applications, document management systems, and law firm productivity tools.
- Deep understanding of Law Firm user workflows and business concepts.
- Experience supporting and overseeing Litera Drafting Products and iManage Document Management System.
- Experience with product administration and support required.
- Excellent project management with the ability collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience in a legal environment or commensurate experience.
- Experience implementing technology solutions based on complex business and user requirements.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good understanding of business systems and risk mitigation within and outside the legal industry and the related technologies.
Work Requirements:
· 7-hour weekday shift, occasional travel for conferences and satellites office support.
