POSITION DESCRIPTION
DBL Law is seeking an entry-level Commercial Lending Paralegal. The person in this position will provide paralegal support for the commercial lending group. This position offers a competitive salary, good benefits, and pleasant working conditions
JOB DUTIES
- Assist with the completion of commercial lending transactions by assembling and reviewing closing documents and completing and monitoring post-closing tasks
- Assist with the preparation and review of loan and title documents, checking for completeness and accuracy, and obtaining signatures
- Assist with the preparation, coordination or review of due diligence for commercial lending transactions
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of transaction checklists
- Respond to inquiries from all persons involved in a commercial lending transaction in a timely and professional manner including lenders, borrower parties, and title companies
- Record important dates and maintain files
- Coordinate closings with all parties
- Invoicing and follow up
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of commercial lending matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work independently andmanage multiple projects with short deadlines
- Willingness to work on a team in a dynamic environment
