Customer Relations and Vendor Liaison Specialist (Part-Time/ No Weekends)

DBS Building Solutions is a leading provider of commercial cleaning and building maintenance services, currently servicing over 1300 customers in 11 states.

Job description:

As an Operations Support Specialist you will provide critical support to our team of Area Managers by providing customer service support to our customers. You will also be responsible for recruiting and maintaining relationships with our independent service providers.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively contact existing customers through a combination of phone calls, emails and surveys, to ensure their satisfaction with the services we are providing.
• Resolve any minor customer service issues as they arise and follow-up to ensure continued satisfaction. Update CRM in a timely fashion.
• Distribute any major customer service issues to the appropriate area manager(s).
• Recruit new vendors (cleaning contractors) through a combination of internet searches, phone calls, emails, letters and texts.
• Thoroughly review vendor applications and paperwork to ensue documents meet company requirements.
• Update and maintain Zoho CRM database with new vendor information.
• Notify the appropriate area manager(s) as new vendors are activated, and notify new vendors of their active status.
• Assist area managers with vendor selection as needed for jobs.
• Track and maintain vendor insurance certificates to ensure proper coverage is maintained.
• Respond to questions and concerns from active and potential vendors.
• Guide and implement high-level vendor management strategies and policies.

Requirements:

• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have proficiency in Word and Excel, possess a working knowledge of Google calendar and a general understanding of navigating a CRM tool..
• Must be able to diffuse customer and vendor complaints along with offering solutions to escalating circumstances.
