As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative in our Northern New Jersey territory.
DBS Building Solutions is in search of a dynamic and seasoned professional to lead our sales efforts in Northern New Jersey. The perfect candidate will possess a background in sales, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and outstanding communication skills. In the role of Outside Sales Representative, you will be tasked with overseeing commercial account sales within your designated region. Your primary objective is to generate new account sales, leveraging leads provided by the company and cultivating your own leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end processes for acquiring new business, encompassing lead generation, negotiation, and successfully closing deals.
- Identify potential leads within the target market through referrals.
- Evaluate prospects through thorough research and personal interactions.
- Prepare for qualified appointments provided by the company.
- Travel to various locations within the region to engage with prospective accounts.
- Deliver presentations to decision-makers, outlining the benefits of our services.
- Generate and dispatch proposals to potential accounts via email, following up with in-person meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date account records in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Conduct proactive follow-ups on proposals and presentations through phone and email communication.
- Collaborate effectively with management and fellow team members.
- Establish and implement a systematic approach for creating leads and obtaining referrals.
- Regularly review, follow up, and manage the pipeline of leads within the CRM system.
Compensation Details:
Starting compensation is $55,000 salary plus uncapped monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses. Qualified sales reps should earn $65-$95k year 1.
Additional details:
This position requires daily travel throughout Northern New Jersey. The counties we service include; Passaic, Bergen, Morris, Essex, Hudson, Union, and Somerset.
