About the Role
The General Manager (GM) will be the heartbeat of Corso, responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience, and leading a high-performing team. This is an opportunity to build something great from the ground up and set the standard for excellence in Boise’s dining scene.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a team that embodies hospitality, teamwork, and excellence.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience through impeccable service and attention to detail.
- Financial Performance: Manage budgets, drive sales, control costs, and maintain profitability
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Team Development: Hire, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Partner with ownership and marketing teams to drive brand awareness and guest loyalty.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain all health, safety, and liquor compliance standards.
Who You Are
- A seasoned restaurant leader with 4 years of GM or AGM experience in high-volume, full-service dining.
- Passionate about hospitality, people, and great food.
- A strategic thinker who can balance guest experience, team leadership, and financial performance.
- Comfortable with data-driven decision-making—experience managing budgets, labor, and P&Ls is a must.
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, steaks, and beverage programs is a plus.
