Landscaping Worker

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Landscaping Workers. In this role, you will work with our landscaping teams to assist with a variety of tasks, including planting, mowing, trimming, and maintaining outdoor spaces. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about outdoor work, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans
• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and maintain flower beds
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment
• Remove weeds, debris, and other obstacles from landscaped areas
• Ensure all landscaping projects are completed to specifications and safety standards
• Follow directions from the supervisor and contribute to team efforts
• The position involves both upscale residential and commercial work
  
  

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 6:45 AM meeting at the client's office in Norfolk and continuing until completion, typically around 4:30 PM or before sunset. During the summer, there may be instances where shifts extend later due to daylight saving time.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of prior experience in landscaping is required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Good communication skills and team collaboration
• Occasional weekend work may be required, so flexibility is necessary
