Job Title: Delivery Assurance Specialist
Location: Bloomington, MN
Job Type: Contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with CPP's internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of critical parts
- Waterfall charts and LOB’s for the Collins parts to include:
- Generates and distributes LOB’s (relieving bandwidth from CPP CPM).
- Utilizes data sources provided by the CPM team.
- Access to the floor with guided permission & clear intent/scope.
- Recovery plans alignment and risk - take necessary steps to for required recovery
- Assesses WIP position and identifies WIP Risks to commitments, and stalled/aged WOID’s that may need attention
- Provides risk/issue list to CPP’s CPM.
- Collaborate with CPP’s CPM to interface with operations team to identify committed actions to mitigate risks/recover back to plan.
- Monitor and document issues and barriers faced in day-to-day operations. Communicate status reports to CPM and customer leadership.
- Monitor schedule and part readiness for assemblies that require engineering witness.
- Ensure operations is aware. Notify Production Engineers when ready..
- Identify supplier risks and help drive risk mitigation plans.
- Expedited WOID /Foundry Control Operations / FAI Articles (directed by CPM)
- Ensure WOID’s identified for expediting are actively in work (or in queue).
- Does not move or push product, just highlights to CPM and Operations when parts are not moving.
- Identifies backlog and que to projected next-operation ECD for critical production parts.
- Regularly present supplier performance progress, action items, challenges, risks, and progress to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to import, export, and procurement regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and 8 year(s) of relevant experience
- Aerospace industry experience
- Manufacturing/engineering experience with casting
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degrees and 8 years (s) of relevant experience
- An understanding of engineering outsourcing business practices
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- Experience in procurement and/or contract management
- Exposure to project or program management
- Exposure to engineering and quality processes
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of LEAN
- An ability to build positive intercompany relationships
- Outstanding communication and reporting skills
- An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
