Job Description
The Electrical Department Manager will oversee the daily activities of the electrical team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage direct and indirect oversight of branch operational employees, including journeyman-electrical, apprentices, and lead journeyman-electrical.
- Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify and address potential issues.
Requirements:
- Valid Supervising Journeyman Electrician License.
- 3 years' experience managing 10 or more employees across more than one location.
- OR 2 years of electrical experience with DBSI Services, Inc.
- MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience.
- Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.
