Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Lead

Job Location: Lafayette, Indiana 

 

Job Description:  

·         New Manufacturing Assembly / Machining Line set up in Greenfield and Transfer lines from one VSM to another VSM in Brownfield environment.

·         Setting up New Manufacturing line as per Industry 4.0, high technology Automation and exposure to Digital Manufacturing concepts.

·         Tracking and presenting the customer Metrics in PQVC (People, Quality, Velocity and Cost) to Leadership.

·         Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired safety and quality standards.

·         Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.

·         Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

·         Job-related experience (preferably in manufacturing)

·         Team Lead or Supervisory experience

·         Experience in Customer Service, Manufacturing/Supply Chain, and/or Operations

·         Ability to demonstrate leadership competencies.

·         Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience in the areas of Quality, Distribution, and Maintenance

·         Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.

·         Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

·         Degree or equivalent experience desired

·           BS/MS
