Job Role: Process Engineer
Job Location: Pineville, LA
Job Description
- Process design, Chemical plant design, PFD, P&ID, Plant engineering, Chemical engineering.
- Should have worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages)
- Work experience in Surfactant making plant would be preferred.
- Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculation, hydraulic calculations
- Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer, etc.
- Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands-on experience in the selection of equipment as per project requirement
- Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is an added advantage
- Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank and other equipment independently
- Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management activities
- Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus
- Conversant with MS office application is must
- Familiarity in working in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be added advantage
