Job Role: Quality Assurance Technician/Engineer with FAI
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite only)
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in creating and reviewing First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Pre-Planning experience
- Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Production background
Job Description:
- Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical industry experience
- FAIR/Pre-Planning experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem-Solving, and Risk Mitigation skills
- Minimum Experience: 1 years
Main Responsibilities:
- Pre-plan AS9102-compliant FAIs using planning documents, 2D/3D engineering drawings
- Develop AS9102 Forms #1, 2, and 3 (customized if required to meet customer requirements)
- Create Ballooned Drawings linking engineering features to the appropriate entry on the FAI form
- Add inspection instructions and remarks
- Prepare and maintain FAI Metrics
- Standardize FAI Plans based on Part Families
- Automate processes to minimize errors in planning
- Perform FAI Reviews in Net-Inspect
