Job Title: Restraint Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Job Description:
- Work experience on Automotive Occupant safety components [Airbag, Steering Wheel and Seat belt]
- Mechanical Design Engineer with NX CAD tool expertise.
- Plastics components design exp.
- Japanese speaking skill.
- Styling feasibility study - with respect to Safety components [for ex. [Steering wheel, Airbag and Seat belts]
- Packaging study of Safety components [Steering wheel, Seat belts, and frontal airbag]
- Design and development of Safety system components (Seats belts, Air bags).
- Knowledge on Testing and validation of Safety system/components.
- Knowledge on regulatory requirements with respect to safety systems and components.
- Knowledge on evolving and new technologies on Safety system parts.
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
