Our platform offers detailed insights into over 7,500 data centers globally, encompassing colocation, hyperscale, and self-build facilities. Serving data center operators, digital infrastructure investors, and related sectors, DC Byte delivers analytics, site selection tools, and bespoke consultancy services to support strategic decision-making.
With 50 employees across offices in Singapore, Washington, DC, and Bulgaria, we have a global presence, while still being a small team that values agility, collaboration, and deep industry expertise.

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team and play a key role in expanding our client base across the data center industry. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to closing deals—while building lasting relationships with key stakeholders. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy engaging with executives, and are passionate about technology and market intelligence, this role is for you.
About you:
You’re a highly motivated self-starter who’s never seen a sales target you weren’t excited to exceed.
You have spent the last couple of years building your skills owning the whole sales cycle in the data center, research, consulting, or real estate industry. You’re now ready for the next step in your career working as an almost stand-alone salesperson for a small but ambitious company!
You have no problem motivating yourself to work independently, as well as collaborate with people across our international organization.
Key Responsibilities:
● Identify and engage potential clients across various sectors, including data center operators, hyperscalers, data center suppliers, consultancies, and investment groups.
● Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and outreach to successfully closing deals.
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
● Effectively present and demonstrate our data center research products, reports, and subscription services.
● Collaborate closely with our marketing and research teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with current market trends.
● Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and dedicated business development efforts.
● Maintain meticulous records in our CRM systems and provide regular, accurate sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications:
● At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the data center, research/consulting, or real estate sectors, or with a data center supplier.
● Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executives and key decision-makers.
● A strong passion for technology, data analytics, and market intelligence.
● Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to business development.
● Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Prior experience in the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries is preferred.
● Experience using HubSpot preferred
