What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Monitor - Summer Job position at DC Career Site?
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Dates of employment: June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025, for day camp staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for counting, serving and receiving meals
- Ensures that food site personnel maintain records and required documents
- Prepares reports of site visits and visits all assigned locations
- Ensures each location maintains program supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned relevant to Summer Lunch / Snack site operations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working in a Summer Food Service Program or other program designed to offer nutritious and free meals to school-age youths
- Previous experience working in an office providing administrative support OR working for a community-based organization
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
