Purpose: The Construction Laborer provides essential support across multiple residential projects, ensuring that each project adheres to DC Construction’s safety, budget, schedule, and quality standards from inception to completion.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position currently has indirect supervisory responsibilities, supporting project management requests as needed.

Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure total client satisfaction by displaying hospitality and professionalism at all times. Represent DC Construction with pride and ensure all client transactions are conducted legally and ethically.

  • Understand and apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for employees, clients, and subcontractors at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and immediately contact DCC Partners (Jess Dawson & Shadrack Cristando).
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all company employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist with jobsite cleanup to ensure jobsites remain clean and organized.
  • Support material delivery and coordination on projects.
  • Make material delivery trips to and from job sites and vendors.
  • Make dump runs with a dump trailer as required.
  • Coordinate temporary utilities for construction projects.
  • Provide temporary heating and air ventilation support as needed.
  • Perform carpentry tasks to support ongoing projects.
  • Review project specifications and conduct field inspections to ensure work complies with designs and specifications, assisting project managers.
  • Collaborate with supervisory personnel and subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures, interpret specifications, and avoid delays in project schedules.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork within the project organization, utilizing resources to drive quality and value for clients.
  • Represent the company through professionalism, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.

Experience/Education Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction, specifically vertical construction projects.
