The Beauty Bank is a Shared Services Company providing accounting, reporting, treasury, marketing, PR, eCommerce, creative, strategic direction, and other services to approximately two dozen related companies in various different industries.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage all aspects of accounting. This person will manage all of the accounting, monthly close process, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management of three small companies including an IT services company, a haircare brand, and a creative services company all based in Mahwah, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly closing process including reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Build a strong finance and accounting infrastructure including systems, processes, and controls.
- Manage all of the daily activities including bill paying and invoicing.
- Assist in managing cash flow.
- Create, report, and analyze annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- 6 years of accounting experience is required.
- Experience in the monthly closing process a MUST!
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting cycle.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
- Team player who is eager to work in a dynamic work environment.
- CPA not required, but a big plus.
