As a parts puller you will primarily be disassembling units for parts and recyclable materials and assisting in organizing shipments as they are received. You may also be tasked with various warehouse duties as they arise. Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment that is ever-changing with consistent motion and noise (ie forklifts running, unit testing in progress, test alarms going off). This position is full time.
Key duties:
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Disassembling units using hand and power tools.
- Operating forklift and pallet jacks to move heavy equipment.
- Carefully handling parts so they can be refurbished.
Requirements:
- Dependable, efficient team player.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills, ability to communicate with team members and show initiative in managing time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated and independent worker.
- Willingness to jump in and assist with various warehouse tasks as needed throughout the day (unloading trailers as needed, moving units around the warehouse, various other miscellaneous tasks).
- Proactive in asking for help when needed.
- Power jack and forklift experience preferred but not necessary.
- Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
