Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of snow removal equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow vehicles and other equipment to clear snow and ice from designated areas.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for snow removal and related tasks.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding weather conditions and operational status.
- Assist with groundskeeping tasks during off-season, including tree care, irrigation, and landscape maintenance.
- Dig out areas as necessary to facilitate effective snow removal.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating snow plow vehicles or similar heavy machinery is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and groundskeeping.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme cold and heavy snowfall.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on maintaining safety standards.
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
