Position Overview:
D.C. United is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships Intern to assist our Corporate Partnerships team for the Fall semester of the 2025 season. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, sponsorships, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of D.C. United's corporate partnerships.
This internship will be completed under a hybrid schedule and be aligned with the DCU Full Time Staffing schedule. Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays will be in-person at the D.C. United Offices located at Audi field. The remaining days of the week, excluding any game days or events, will be virtual. The ability to work matches on site is required to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination and execution of partnership activations and events

Support the development and maintenance of partner-related materials, including presentations, proposal and recaps

Conduct research on potential partners and industry trends to support partnership development

Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, ticketing, and operations to ensure successful partnership fulfillment

Assist in tracking and reporting partnership deliverables to ensure all obligations are met

Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Partnerships team including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and maintaining records
Requirements

Eligible to receive college credit for the internship

Dedicate a maximum of 25 hours a week to the internship from May 2025 to August 2025

Available to work match days (includes some weekends)

Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Work may require occasional weekend or evening work

Qualifications:

Must be able to receive college credit
- Strong interest in sports, particularly soccer.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in sports marketing or corporate partnerships is a plus but not required.
