This full-time position in Blue Springs, Missouri, located at our KAT Wholesale site.
Hourly Rate: $22.00-$26.00 variable compensation
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Orchestrate and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to enhance the overall customer experience.
Quotes & Bookings: Generate and mobilize customer quotes, bookings, and sales forecast to drive sales growth and meet business objectives.
Resolve Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Document Activity: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory levels, utilizing the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure seamless communication and data management.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties:
- Actively manage and scale your book of businesses to maximize sales growth through proactive upselling and cross-selling initiatives, focusing on promoting green goods and hardscapes
- Oversee customer accounts by identifying and addressing customer needs and proactively recognizing potential future needs to enhance satisfaction
- Conduct weekly calls and outreach communications with customers to maintain engagement and build relationships
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling during customer interactions to enhance sales and overall customer satisfaction
- Scale your book of business season over season, consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals and objectives
- Promote product offerings to customers, highlighting features and benefits to drive interest and sales
- Act as an expert resource for customers, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, products, and services
- Document all customer information and communication into the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Research and acquire material, give advice on plants, and offer substitutions if needed
- Promote Company as the leader in quality, service, and availability
- Maintains accurate inventory knowledge by staying up-to-date on current stock levels and projected inventory needs
- Promote Companys product lines and services
- Stay knowledgeable about industry emerging products to provide informed recommendations and expert advice to customers
- Provide sales forecast through management of future orders and customer quotes by analyzing sales data
- Partner with other account representatives and operations team members to facilitate delivery/pick-up accuracy
- Inspection of material and orders
- Update inventory levels specific to bids and quotes received, ensuring accurate and timely information
- Tag and organize products to ensure easy identification and accessibility
- Take photos of the most recent products available
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote and manage a safe work environment while following direction from the safety committee

Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: 1 years in plant industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and/or nurseries
- Required: Experience in customer service and sales
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
