Position Summary
Through solid market and audience research, the Commercial Marketing Manager will work closely with the National Commercial Sales Manager to develop and implement commercial marketing initiatives to drive new business and growth. The ideal candidate will also be capable of supporting the sales team and assisting with the delivery of a consistent brand and customer experience across the 22 states in which we serve. This position will focus on the adaptation of steep growth targets and requires a strategically minded marketing expert. The individual will need to work to improve functionality that drives profitable growth and commercial customer satisfaction in core districts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data strategy to ensure the sourcing of quality commercial accounts
- Prioritize market types and activity to deliver the best returns over a defined timeline
- Drive and execute on and offline activity
- Deliver a consistent brand and customer experience in line with other market propositions
- Must be comfortable communicating at all levels and managing upwards
- Previous experience of using Hubspot (preferred)
- Implement and become the Super-User of Hubspot and the Commercial Marketing expert
- Create and set up commercial communications, tools, and campaigns
- Develop, manage, and continuously update the commercial website
- Create insightful briefs while working with key agencies on creative platforms, through both on and offline activity
- Track and analyze performance of campaigns activities
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure that material is in line with our brand identity
- Develop strategies and tactics to spread a positive message that will attract and retain and new business
- Deploy successful and effective marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
Position Qualifications
Experience/Education
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Fields of Study Preferred: Marketing/Communications/Sales
Required Work Experience:
- 7 years experience in a Marketing role
- Experience working with a CRM System
- Able to work independently and adhere to tight timescales
- Comfortable working in a close team environment.
- Project management
- Experience with change management
- Comfortable communicating/working with all levels of internal personnel
- Strong copywriting ability preferred
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Microsoft Applications: Proficiency required (in particular, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Additional Technology: Hubspot, WordPress, website management
Travel: 10% - 15%/Work from home flexibility & in office
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required

- Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and accomplish goals and objectives
