Job Description:
This role involves safely operating a propane delivery truck in compliance with DOT regulations, delivering propane to customers as scheduled, and handling, loading, and unloading propane tanks and cylinders. The technician will also be responsible for installing propane tanks, gas lines, and related equipment at customer sites, conducting routine maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on propane systems and equipment. Additionally, they will perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of propane systems, including tanks, regulators, meters, and appliances.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a Class B CDL and possess endorsements such as Tanker/HaZmat. They should also have experience in propane delivery, installation, or a related field, as well as strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is essential. Furthermore, the candidate should be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions, and have good manual dexterity and the ability to use hand and power tools.
