What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Placing Agency Operations Assistant II position at DCCCA?
Part-Time
Position Overview:
- Tracks CPA data and documentation regarding critical incidents, placements, monthly reports and/or file reviews.
- Updates Electronic Record system as needed
- Monitors, collects and submits Children Alliance, Medicaid, and/or DCF billing as required by verifying data and identifying discrepancies
- Creates and communicates information to staff and foster parents
- Answers phones and returns all voicemails within 30 minutes
- Provides on-going support services to CPA staff
- Requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Performs clerical duties as required including maintaining equipment, arranging for maintenance, and/or reviewing inventory levels of supplies and reordering as necessary
- Job may require the employee to be able to regularly drive to various DCCCA locations and other business locations throughout the day including early morning or evening hours
Requirements Include:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Requires at least two years of relevant job experience
- Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Must pass pre-employment background checks, reference checks, fingerprinting and drug screening
