What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at DCCCA?
Essential Functions of the Quality Data Analyst:
- Provides technical support to agency programs concerning data and data collection (i.e., program outcomes, satisfaction, surveys, and/or other data, etc.)
- Assists with improvement and maintenance of data accuracy
- Communicates data clearly using created charts and reports
- Tracks, generates, and distributes regular and ad hoc data and outcome reports
- Provides system administration for child welfare systems
- Develops, updates, and maintains the organization’s performance monitoring
- Identifies trends, patterns and outliers
- Coordinates quarterly file audit process
- Identifies risk management priorities and strategies for reducing risk
- Participates in evidence-based practice implementation teams
- Manages evidence-based practice outcome evaluation data collection and reporting
- Monitors response to program surveys, logs, complaints
- Communicates and/or provides training on software updates; supports staff access to systems recommend system changes, reports
Education, Experience, and Licensure of the Quality Systems Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, required
- Proven experience researching, collecting, and analyzing data, required
- Experience in health care and or child welfare, preferred
- Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Quality Systems Specialist
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to efficiently operate other office equipment such as telephones, voicemail systems, copy and fax machines, and scanners.

Travel
Travel for this position is negligible. It is usually during business hours and rarely overnight. Certain positions will require travel which may include driving personal or company-owned vehicles. Note: Even with a valid driver’s license, certain motor vehicle infractions may render individual’s ineligible to drive company-owned or personal vehicles for company business. Such infractions may also disqualify employees from continued employment with DCCCA, Inc.
