Position Overview
DCG is seeking a Senior Designer to implement the creative direction of a large public awareness campaign. This individual will be responsible for executing high-quality designs that reflect the brand, style, and vision of the overall campaign targeted to a variety of audiences. This will include managing multiple high-profile design projects simultaneously. The Senior Designer will be a key part of a larger team team that will include creative and design professionals, strategic communications specialists, and media buyers along with analytics professionals.Location
While DCG will consider remote candidates for this role, there is a strong preference for candidates presently located within 50 miles of Washington, DC.ResponsibilitiesCreate product design strategies supported by multiple formats / media including digital, print, and out-of-homeDevelop alternate versions of creative and products based on potentially divergent stakeholder requirements and shifting leadership prioritiesDevelop infographics that highlight key initiatives, achievements, and upcoming eventsEnsure adherence to brand and style guidance while focusing on user experienceCollaborate closely with Creative Director to present ideas to and consult with stakeholders regarding strategic and tactical elements of campaignsRequired QualificationsBFA in Graphic Design or equivalent mix of experience and education5 years of experience in brand identity, illustration, character design, and digital campaign designDesired QualificationsExperience supporting federal customers, with a specific preference for federal law enforcement and / or public health organizationsExperience in logo and wordmark creation, print and publication design, infographics, and video and file handling
