Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Business Development Team for the summer. The Business Development Intern will assist DGC’s Business Development team in executing DGC’s asset acquisition and power development efforts for solar, solar plus storage, battery and gas assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in and support business development activities related to acquisition and development of natural gas power plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and photovoltaic (PV) power systems.
With supervision, create/update financial models.
Conduct research in areas targeted by the team for acquisition or development purposes.
Present assigned tasks at company internal meetings, as required.
Present summary presentation to senior management and peers at the conclusion of internship.
Qualifications:
Third or fourth-year students enrolled at a major university. Majoring in economics, finance, business, engineering or environmental science preferred but not required. First Year MBA students could be considered as well.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills Microsoft office – Excel, Word and PPT
Strong desire to learn more about the power industry
