Overview
Coordinates and executes the planning, production and distribution of electronic media to promote awareness, preference and use of the DCH Health System. Supports publications, events and media relations activities.
Responsibilities
DCH Standards:
- Maintains performance, patient and employee satisfaction and financial standards as outlined in the performance evaluation.
- Performs compliance requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Must adhere to the DCH Behavioral Standards including creating positive relationships with patients/families, co-workers and colleagues.
- Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.
- Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and speak English. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, business administration, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field is required. Health care marketing experience is desired but not required. Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills, creativity, resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and functioning in an environment of changing priorities. The person must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience is desired in Adobe design products including Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro), Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro. Experience in the operation and use of a DSLR camera is desired. Knowledge of newswriting style, layout and desktop publishing hardware and software, and HTML preferred.
