Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a Hospital Development Manager. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of Hospital Development which includes hospital performance assessments, performance improvement initiatives and outcomes. This role is responsible for staff performance evaluations and improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include :
- Oversee the general activity of the Hospital Development staff and provides guidance as necessary. Meets on a routine basis to ensure professional education, performance improvement, and hospital partnerships are implemented and consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of plans for all hospitals to facilitate growth in the organ and tissue donation. Evaluates activities against established plans and works with coordinators to revise as necessary.
- Identifies and solves problems related to the provision of service with the hospital. Works in collaboration with hospitals’ QAPI departments to ensure hospital performance.
- Prepares, distributes and analyzes surveys, conducts one on one interviews with key individuals, and tracks and analyzes donor and referral patterns.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance with CMS and AOPO with regards to all aspects of Hospital Development.
- Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training and retention. Evaluate hospital development staff performance. Provides coaching, counseling and education as necessary.
- Acts as the liaison to the Clinical Manager(s) and Organ Recovery Coordinators to facilitate communication and uniformity in reporting, collecting and analyzing data. Routinely reports departmental activities to appropriate Managers / Directors.
- Communicates and works collaboratively with other DCIDS / OPO departments to identify and improve donation processes within hospitals, Medical Examiners and Corner Offices.
- Act a role model for DCIDS and the DCIDS Quality Department by supporting, reinforcing and exhibiting behaviors which are consistent with the DCIDS Core Values.
