What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Tissue Donor Restorer position at DCI Donor Services?
Job Responsibilities
- Tissue Recovery Coordination: Coordinate the tissue recovery procurement process, including communication with hospitals and funeral homes, packaging, and shipping.
- Recovery Team Leadership: Lead recovery team efforts of donated cadaveric human tissue, including bone, skin, corneas, blood vessels, nerves, and heart valves.
- Internal Support: Serve as a resource and advisor to internal team members for completing recovery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical field, preferably with a bachelor's degree and CTBS/EBAA certification. They should be able to multitask, maintain an eye for detail, and remain professional in all business matters.
