What are the responsibilities and job description for the Organ Donation Program Manager position at DCI Donor Services?

As an Organ Donation Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our teams meet and exceed regulations set forth by internal policies and external expectations. You will work closely with Medical Directors and Medical Advisory Committees to implement policy and practice changes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service as Administrator On Call to guide staff through the necessary steps of organ donation
- Manage call schedule to ensure adequate staffing coverage is provided at all times
- Interact with Medical Directors and Medical Advisory Committee to implement policy/practice changes
- Support employment initiatives to include recruitment, rounding, coaching, mentoring, development, and counseling
- Provide onsite support in hospitals as needed
- Act as a role model for DCIDS by supporting, reinforcing, and exhibiting behaviors consistent with the DCIDS core values
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered Nurse Credential
- 5 years OPO clinical experience
- 2 years leadership experience
- Valid Driver's License with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
