Full-Stack Developer
Location: Washington, D.C.
Job Description:
Serves as a Full-Stack Developer
In this role, you work with customers around the globe
Provide distributed data storage and parallel computing using:
- Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Spark
Use back-end applications and data integration tools, such as Java and Groovy
Work with web technologies such as Typescript, React/Redux
Provide data processing and analysis
Create user-facing applications in support of mission needs
Support data integration efforts
Design UX and platform navigation improvements
Provide feedback to the engineering team about product
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field)
5 years of Full-Stack Development experience
Platform, Data, or Application engineering/development experience is a plus
Experience with space operations highly preferred
Prior experience with Foundry is highly preferred
Familiarity with:
- Data structures
- Storage systems
- Cloud infrastructure
- Front-end frameworks
Understanding of how technical decisions impact the user of what you’re building
Proficiency with programming languages such as:
- Java, C , Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
Military experience is desired
SpaceForce experience highly desired
Required: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
