DCI Job Requirement for:
Information Assurance Technician
Location: Washington, D.C.
Job Description:
Serves as an Information Assurance Technician (IAT)
Onboard new users and provide end user support
Provide Tier 1 support for all technologies
- Windows desktop/server, Linux, VOIP, VTC, etc.
Support the day to day technical and logistical operations of our facilities
Work with and manage Windows Active Directory
Ensure compliance of current Information Assurance (IA) policies
Continuously improve user workstation experiences through:
- OS and application optimizations, automation, and streamlined processes.
Qualifications:
1 year of hands-on experience with windows user support
- Additional Linux experience a plus
Experience reviewing windows and Linux logs while solving issues
Coding/scripting proficiency in at least one language
Experience automating solutions
Experience with information security frameworks such as:
- Device encryption
- Anti-virus tooling
- Digital certificates
- Security policies
Familiarity with fundamentals such as AD, DNS, DHCP, firewall, VPN, and PKI
Familiarity with DISA STIGs
DOD 8570 IAT Level I certified
Required: Active TS/SCI
