DCI Job Requirement for:
Lifecycle Logistician
Location: Remote
Job Description:
Serve as Logistics SME for ILS areas of Avionics, Propulsion, and maintenance planning
Manage and track contracts
Perform various tasks related to the development, evaluation, and improvement of:
- Weapon systems supportability
- Maintainability programs and information systems
Work on logistics and maintainability programs and control organization issues such as:
- Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements
- Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans
- Systems acquisition requirements analysis
- Budgetary or financial analysis and control
- Life cycle cost analysis and control
- Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility
- ILS/R&M program test and evaluation planning and execution
- ILS/R&M program management analysis
Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply:
- logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
Oversee and be responsible for the efforts of staff
Develop, modify, prepare, or validates documentation in relation to:
- Automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems
- Management information systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5 years of related logistics experience
- Associates degree and 6 years of experience
Contract management experience
Experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
Experience in Avionics, Propulsion, and maintenance planning
F-35 experience
4 years of supervising/directing experience
2 years of logistics management experience in support of an acquisition command
Ability to track all critical aspects of program
Ability to perform all functional duties independently
DoD acquisition logistics support experience to include:
- Specific experience in acquisition planning and management
Experience providing logistical support of DoD weapons systems and equipment
REQUIRED: Active Secret Security Clearance
