Job Description:
Serve as a SME for all things Network Development and Engineering
Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure
- Enterprise and local
Collaborate with people within and outside the organization to:
- Deliver the highest standards for building, deploying, and scaling networks
Design, configure, troubleshoot, maintain complex Layer 2/3 data center architectures
- Using BGP, VLANs, MLAG, LAG
- Spine/Leaf topologies
- Trunk/Access ports
- Other related technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
- Translate them into effective network solutions
Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members
Contribute to the documentation of network infrastructure designs and configurations
Travel up to 20% of the time, to perform on-site installations and maintenance
Qualifications:
10 years of network design, architecture, and engineering experience
Proven experience in designing, configuring, and managing:
Complex BGP and Layer 2/3 Data Center architectures
Expert hands on experience with:
- Network infrastructure
- Configuration Audits
- Automating processes for quick recovery
- Nvidia Fabric
- Network Diagrams
- Routers/Switches
- Ports and protocols
- STIGing Switches
- Network Monitoring (Kabana Dashboards)
Expertise in VLAN, MLAG, and LAG configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience with Spine and Leaf architecture design and implementation
Strong understanding of Trunk/Access ports, their functions, and how to configure them
Required: Active TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph
