DCI Job Requirement for:
VxRail Administrator
Location: Patrick AFB, FL
Job Description:
Serve as a VxRail Residency Administrator
Monitor, review, and manage Dell infrastructure listed in the SOW
Manage and review log files and user requests
Generate regular operational reports
Assist with capacity and disaster recovery planning and design Problem Management:
- Isolate and troubleshoot incidents
- Perform service incident coordination
- Open service requests on behalf of the Customer
Participate in root cause analysis and review Change Management:
- Perform software/firmware management assistance and collaboration
- Implement change management requests
Assist with solution documentation of policies and procedures
Monitor migration activities Continual Service Improvement:
- Recommend procedure changes that result in operational optimization
- Provide performance tuning and product enhancement recommendations
Work with technical leadership to discuss architectural design, strategy, and plans
Perform transition planning with deployment team
Perform incremental host and network configuration beyond deployment scope
Conduct knowledge transfer for new technology features, admin activities, and SOPs
Implement Dell System Management Tools
Work with customer staff to develop Run Books
Review IT processes and policies as part of new solution or continuous improvement
Qualification:
5 years of Software, System, Storage, IaC, or IaaS engineering experience
3 years of VxRail experience
3 years of Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)
Proficient in either Python or Go programming language
Hands-on experience with the following:
- Software Defined Storage (SDS)
- Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- VMware
- vSAN
- Nutanix
Security certified
Clearance: TS/SCI

Salary: $150,000-$200,000
