What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at DCI Sustainable Hardwood Furniture?
Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for on-site installers in collaboration with the Project Manager and Installation Supervisor.
- Facilitate access to military bases by providing necessary personnel data for security clearances.
- Arrange on-site equipment needs as directed by the Installation Supervisor.
- Liaise with local temp agencies to secure additional help as needed.
- Ensure timely entry of employee hours into the payroll system.
- Work with Accounts Payable to process per diem, mileage, and expense requests.
- Provide weekend and evening support via phone to address any emergency on-site issues.
Qualifications
- Proficient in data-entry with experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to keep all project stakeholders informed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Management experience is preferred.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and web-based programs.
- Self-motivated and well-organized.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone or text.
