The Site Safety Manager will work with the field operations team to ensure that our job site maintains a safe and healthy working and learning environment. As a DCI employee and a Site Safety Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day safe work practices.

The Site Safety Manager will work with the field operations team to ensure that our job site maintains a safe and healthy working and learning environment. As a DCI employee and a Site Safety Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day safe work practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspects the site and promotes a hazard-free environment.
- Hosts Toolbox Talk Safety Meetings.
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Promotes safe practices at the job site.
- Instruct and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
- Conduct investigations into all accidents, incidents and near-misses.
- Reports to upper management and DCI Corporate Safety Manager.
- Conducts job hazard analysis.
- Enforces safety standards and policies.
- Oversee the safety of all workers and work to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
- Enforces safety guidelines.
- Responds to Employees’ Safety concerns.
- Minimum High school degree or G.E.D.
- Minimum of three years of experience on an active construction site.
- OSHA 30 and ability to obtain OSHA 510.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- General Knowledge of OSHA Standards.
- Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of working on an active construction site.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel of other departments/trades.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate clearly to the crew leads, foremen, and Superintendent’s.
- Construction knowledge: high level energy: professionalism.
- Full-time, with hourly benefits.
- Bi-weekly pay periods.
- Work schedule at 45 hours per week. Which may include evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Pay rate is based on experience, $25 to $30 an hour.
Salary : $25 - $30
