Currently, we're on the lookout for a highly creative and self-motivated Prep Tech to join our spectacularly talented team, recognized as the best in the world at what they do!
At DCL, we value positive attitudes, quick thinking, and professionalism. As a Prep Tech, your duties will include sanding, buffing, and prepping aluminum and other materials for finishing and keeping an eye out for quality throughout the process.
If the following describes you, we want to hear from you!
- Sanding and Buffing Experience: Prior experience in sanding, buffing, and prepping aluminum and other materials for paint.
- Physical Stamina and Strength: Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly and handling the physical demands of the job.
- Auto Body or Related Experience: Experience in auto body or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Painting Skills: Experience with spray techniques, HVLP, single-stage coating, and knowledge of the Matthews paint system is a plus.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are crucial for this role Ability to go with the flow and take on new responsibilities as assigned.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and Punctual: Dependably arrives to work on time every day.
- Superb Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sense of Humor: Maintains a positive attitude and good sense of humor.
