What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, IT Risk & Compliance position at DCLI?
The objective of this role is to establish, implement and monitor compliance requirements for DCLI’s finance systems. This includes collaborating with functional and business leads to define processes and controls over key finance systems. The IT Risk and Compliance Manager will be critical for identifying and reporting areas of risk over finance systems. This role will also support project management over enhancements or implementation of finance systems or applications. Additionally, this role will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate IT general controls and configuration controls exist, as well as overseeing testing and evaluating any deficiencies identified. This role provides a great opportunity to design a compliance program for our IT environment, have a meaningful impact and gain exposure to leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and govern the process and controls required when enhancements or new systems / applications are implemented
- Identify opportunities to expand modules and functionality with Oracle Fusion
- Evaluate existing IT general controls and key configurations to identify opportunities for improvement or control gaps
- Oversee IT general controls and configuration control testing
- Evaluate impact of any deficiencies identified
- Collaborate with functional and business leads for system process improvements for greater agility and efficiency
- Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels to achieve initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to control owners to ensure they understand and can meet compliance requirements
- Lead or support project management over finance system initiatives to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in IT auditing or risk management roles for a public accounting firm, professional services firm, or industry
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, or a related field
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP application required, as well as exposure to different IT environments and technologies
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. COBIT, COSO, SOX)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and systems (networks, databases, applications)
- Experience with implementing, enhancing or supporting systems / applications
- Experience in assessing and mitigating IT risks across various areas like data security, system access controls, change management controls, and application controls
- Self-sufficient and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and schedule own work with input from supervisor
- Autonomous individual who can look forward to identifying key goals and objectives, and tackle them with minor oversight
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with managing cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking, with a continuous learning mindset
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
