Responsibilities: * Network Architect will plan, design, and implement data communication networks to meet an organization s needs * Monitor the network and perform modeling tasks to assess future needs * Installing and implementing systems: Overseeing the installation and implementation of computer network systems, and maintaining documentation * Evaluating new technologies: Installing new software and hardware, and analyzing network performance * Troubleshooting: Providing troubleshooting assistance for complex issues * Securing the network: Implementing firewalls and content filters to secure data and communications without affecting network performance * Managing staff: Ensuring projects run on schedule and managing all network-related tasks and issues * Day to day high level operational support * Infrastructure upgrades expansions changes to be made * Adding Nexus to their environment * Interact with architects and engineers on the team and help move through the initiatives they have
