Job Details
This is an onsite role. Candidates must be local.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a Mainframe Storage Engineer, managing large-scale enterprise storage environments.
Demonstrated expertise in identifying, monitoring, and resolving complex issues related to virtual tape architectures, with at least 7 years of troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
Proven track record (5 years) working with a variety of virtual tape library systems, including Dell EMC, VSM, VLE, and ZFS.
Strong command of IBM JCL (Job Control Language) with a minimum of 5 years experience in mainframe job automation and scripting.
Solid knowledge of tape management solutions, including CA-1 Tape Management System (TMS) and CA Vantage, with at least 4 years of practical application.
Experience supporting end-to-end Disaster Recovery (DR) processes planning, testing, monitoring, and system restoration focused on virtual tape storage systems (4 years).
Adept at designing and implementing Storage Management Systems (SMS) with at least 3 years of relevant project work.
Familiar with Data Domain Management Center (DDMC) and its capabilities, with 2 years of hands-on experience.
Comfortable using TSO (Time Sharing Option) and ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility) for mainframe operations and configuration, with 2 years in each environment.
Proficient in Linux CLI environments, with the ability to perform command-line tasks and automation effectively.
